Monday, August 18, 2008:
Hi All, Great meeting this morning. This group is coming along fast for only our 2nd meeting! A couple of points . . .

1: We discussed a number of suggestions and idea's to make out group functional and production, and I will be commu7nicating with our Membership Commitee this week so we can make some decisions and rerport back to the group next week.

2: We had more volenteers for the Membership Commitee which brings that number to 9 members. I believe that is a good number so let's close that group for the time being.

3: We made a rule last week that anyone who misses 3 meetings in a row will lose their catagory slot within the group. There are a number who expressed an interest in becoming members but have not attended either of the first 2 meetings. If they don't show up next week we will actively seek replacements. I am listing those catagories below. If you know of anyone in any of the above categories that would be a good fit with our group, please keep them in mind for after next week if we vacate these areas. If you are one of the folks who has committed and has yet to attend a meeting, this is your last chance. -

We had a great first meeting this morning, and here is an update of what took place . . .

1: We agreed that if anyone misses 3 meetings in a row without extenuating circumstances, their category
will become open, and a replacement sort. ** Note: There were a number of you who committed to become group members and
did not attend today's meeting, and did not let me know that you couldn't be there. If you are not planning on attending in the future, please let me know so we can give others the opportunity to join. We have had many requests for filled categories.

2: We agreed that the meeting should start promptly at 8:30 and end promptly at 9:30.
3: We agreed that you must be present to vote, and all votes are by simple majority.
4: We agreed that we would have separate checks for breakfast
5: We agreed that each week, a different member would have the opportunity to do a 15 min. presentation
   for their business, and Bill Haile from American Ecotech volunteered to schedule the presentations.

6: Ron Cusano, Steve Recht, Tom Dougherty and Beth Feldman volunteered for the Membership Committee, which
   will focus on bringing in new members and meeting format.will focus on bringing in new members and meeting format.

** Ron Cusano volunteered to build & host the site at no cost to the group, and all members THAT ATTEND MEETINGS
will be listed at no cost. Advertising will be made available at a reasonable rate to members.
8: Two new members today: I want to welcome Ricky Clarke - Electrician and Jack Armstrong - Air Purification equipment

     I would like to encourage everyone to have one-on-one meetings with other group members, and to invite new members for categories not already covered. See you all next week!
